The Master Builders Association of the ACT published the following pamphlets which were made available in hard copy and on our website: “Enterprise Bargaining Agreements: busting the myths about EBAs” and “Get a better deal”. The pamphlets incorrectly described the Built Plus income protection product with reference to the JLT (CSI) Discretionary Trust as being guaranteed only for union members.
The Master Builders Association of the ACT acknowledge that the Built Plus product is open to all businesses or individuals, whether or not they are a member of the CFMEU and whether or not they hold a current EBA.
The Master Builders Association of the ACT retracts the incorrect comments in the pamphlets and unreservedly apologises for having published incorrect information. The Master Builders Association of the ACT further apologises to the ACT Branch of the CFMEU for any hurt and embarrassment caused by the incorrect statements.
